Last week was the half way mark for the MLB season. And my Quest to attend 10 different ballparks in 1 season.
I really finished off the 1st half of the season strong (If I don’t say so myself)
checked off 3 more stadiums in the quest for 10 & another stadium for the 1st time…

Stadium #4 “The Big A” – Anaheim Stadium
The weather always seems to be perfect for baseball games in Orange County! I brought my nephew Blake & My Son EMRSN.
The Food Selection was on point! CRAFTY DOGS!!! Build your own hot dogs, from a barrage of toppings…I couldn’t decide … so I got two! mac & cheese + elote & The short rib chili cheese jump off!
Stadium #5 – Turner Field – Atlanta,Ga
Another 1st timer for me! I’m glad I got to attend a game here for 2 reasons:
- The History of The Atlanta Braves & This particular stadium.
- This is the final season for this stadium, The Braves are moving to Cobb County about 30 mins away from their stadium now.
The Heat & Humidity were an amazing tag team on this day, almost unbearable at times but we snuck off & found some unoccupied seats in the shade to enjoy the game. To my surprise, the food selection here wasn’t the greatest, actually it down right sucked… except this gem. It made me smile.
If you have ever been to the south, you already know Waffle House is every where & a must try if you’ve never experienced the real deal. I Love seeing local favorites inside the ball park!
Stadium #6 – Petco Park – San Diego,Ca
Home of The San Diego Padres, but I wasn’t attending a Padres game. I was indulging in what has become my new favorite live sporting event… The Home Run Derby.
Its always been on my Bucket List to attend a MLB All star weekend & I did that 2 years ago in Minnesota. Now every year its a thing for me to attend. Sports fans from all over the world gather to cheer on their team/player/league…the game was so exciting, I didn’t even eat??? (Imagine that???)
Shouts to DJ Irie who was the on field DJ for each batter in the derby (which is kinda major) they even had him on field (seen above) This is such a tremendous look of the DJ community!!!
For those keeping score at home… The quest is looking a little something like this:
Stadiums attended = 6 (NYM,NYY,Denver,Anaheim, Atlanta & San Diego)
Stadiums missed = 2 (Los Angeles & Miami)
Stadiums scheduled to attend = 3 (San Fransisco, Oakland & Seattle)
