Hitting a team high of 26 points and with help from teammates held off Lebron and company. Kyrie’s injury in overtime was a blow to the Cav’s lineup that could change the momentum of the team.
Serena Williams, vomiting on the court at the French Open didn’t stop her from advancing to her 3rd career final. Williams went up against Timea Bacsinsky beating her opponent 4-6, 6-3, 6-0 to move on to the championship match where she will face Lucie Safarova. Williams was struggling in the first match but turned it around after a time out during the game.
In FIFA news, millions of dollars was paid to the country of Ireland over blown calls in the World Cup playoffs of 2009. The incident was related to an Hand Ball violation that cost Ireland the game against France. With a result to that cost Ireland a place in the 2010 World Cup.
