Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of negativity on of my social media and I want to give some advice on things I do when I’m down. Hope you guys enjoy!
1. Set Goals-This one can seem pretty easy, but this is actually one of the most difficult ones to achieve. Why? Well anyone can say they’re going to do something, but how many people actually do what they say? Something I do is I tell my friends about my goals and vice versa. We write them down and hold each other accountable.
2. Get Rid Of Negative People-You never know who your real friends are until crap hits the fan. Trust me, I’ve been there recently and it stinks having to get rid of people in your life. And in most cases, it’s the people closest to you who are the most negative. They don’t want you to have a bigger pool than Kanye!
3.Count Your Blessings-Remember, there is always someone out there who has it worse off than you. Just because you don’t have the newest flashiest cell phone or car doesn’t mean you’re a loser. You’re just in a phase in your life. It’s not your end goal. Be grateful for what you have because theres some else who would trade you lives in a heartbeat.
4. The Glass Is Always Half Full-It’s not about where you came from, it’s about where you’re going in life. For me, I haven’t come close to reaching my potential and that’s something that keeps me going. Thinking like this keeps my mind in a positive mind state. I’m constantly trying to rebuild and retool my life to get to where I want to be. Don’t be afraid to take constructive criticism, its the best type of feedback out there.
5. Life Is Too Short To Hold Grudges-This is a fact. If someone screws you over, deal with it and let it go. You’ll waste more energy going out of your way trying to hate someone for what they did in the past. It’s much easier to love.
