West Jordan > Copper Hills
At first, it looked like West Jordan was going to run away with it, but Copper Hills fought back only to fall 8 votes short.

A total of 48 votes were placed during B lunch at West Jordan High School with 29 teachers receiving nominations.
Mr. Zurcher is Kev’s Teacher of The Week based on the small sampling of students. Daniel Zurcher is a business teacher at the school and student’s had this to say about him,
“Funny and cool.”
“He’s fun and funny and he just loves life and it rubs off on us.”
“He works with the students and really cares about our education.”
“He is fun and always has great lessons and loves his students.”
And my personal favorite mention, “He does a good job at teaching really boring stuff.”
There was a four-way tie for second place with each teacher receiving three nominations each. Spanish teacher Spencer Larsen, Language Arts teacher Katrina Kennedy, Social Studies teacher Taylor Hatch, and Health Sciences teacher Todd Pyne.
Third place had a six-way tie with two nominations each. Special Education teacher Heather Tester, Social Studies teacher’s Alyse Almond, Kelsie Barrett, and Matthew Rueckert, Art teacher Angelica Barney, and Business teacher Christopher Jones.
Congratulations to all of the teachers at West Jordan High School, we appreciate all that you do for the rising generation.
