Being a cosmetologist I am extremely picky on the beauty services I receive, from hair to nails and everything in-between, I always make sure I pick the right person for the service. Getting a new beauty service done can be intimidating when you aren’t familiar with the procedure and the technician doing it. My number one rule is do your research. Check reviews and set up consultations before you make a final decision.
I had been curious about getting lash extensions for years, but having a few friends with nightmare stories I stayed away. Thats why doing your research is so important. You want to make sure you are completely comfortable.
I had heard such great things about the lash techs at LASHED in Ogden that I had to check them out. When I first heard about them, It was from my nail tech Marcela. She raved about Jessica at LASHED, and I knew I had to look her up. After checking out her social media and checking out reviews, I was ready to set up an appointment.
The salon was very clean and welcoming, which was the best first impression. Right away I was greeted by the Owner of LASHED, which blew me away. That spoke volumes to me, when do you ever get to meet the owner of a company you shop at? Darla was so sweet! She answered all my questions, and made me feel super comfortable. We took some before pics and then I was all set to get LASHED!
Jess was the best! Such great energy and very open to answer all my questions. She eased my fears and worries about getting my extensions. The atmosphere is so relaxing there as well. Comfy recliners, music, and even a blanket if I got cold.
I received the volume lash set, and the procedure took about 2-2.5 hours total. I’m embarrassed to admit but I even fell asleep a few times, thats how comfortable I was! No worries, Jess said it happens all the time! LOL! I felt no pain or uncomfortableness during the procedure. I could barely feel what she was doing and there was never a point where my eyes hurt. Although I had a whole bunch of lashes put in, my eyes didn’t feel heavy or bothered. I couldn’t even feel them when we were done.
Im so in love with my new lashes and the experience I had at LASHED! I can’t wait to check out the other services like microblading and more!
