The Electronic Dance Music pioneer Avicii, left us on April 20th, 2018.
And before he passed, he was working on an album. The day that Avicii passed, The President Geffen Records, Neil Jacobson, told Variety that he didn’t know wasn’t sure what was going to happen with the album. “I’m going to sit down and talk to the family once everybody has a chance to take a breath,” he said. “I’ve never actually had this happen with an artist I’ve worked with before and this closely. So, I don’t know.” He later went on to mention that this was Avicii’s “best music in years.”
The Swedish Media Outlet Aftonbladet reports that Avicii’s family has “met [with] record company representatives and partners and agree that an album will be released before the end of the year.”
