A study done by the APA (American Psychiatric Association) resulted in millennials (20-37) being the most anxious generation of all. The reasoning for this is because they have lower employment rates, larger student debt, and bills. The study says that millennials have more financial responsibility than their parents.
President of the APA Dr. Anita Everett said that “This poll shows U.S. adults are increasingly anxious particularly about health, safety and finances. That increased stress and anxiety can significantly impact many aspects of people’s lives, including their mental health, and it can affect families.”
