Every week I’ll be highlighting a female R&B/Hip Hop artist because who doesn’t love new divalicious music to put makeup on to in the mornings? My female artist highlight of the week is none other than the beautiful and talented Kehlani. The Oakland born R&B singer recently released her newest album ‘SweetSexySavage’ on January 27 and it is worthy of repeat ladies. Her raw and honest lyrics combined with smooth beats and her bold voice makes for an album of fierceness. Kehlani is a past iTunes chart topper in the R&B/Soul category and is definitely one to follow. She is no doubt one of my new favorite artists and I have a feeling this is only the beginning for Kehlani. You go girl! #WomenToFollow
Kehlani is currently on tour for her ‘SweetSexySavage’ album and is making a stop in Salt Lake City on May 4 at The Depot.
