After Izealia Banks called a flight attendant a homophobic slur, she decided to make a public apology Wednesday, to her fans on Twitt Banks was caught on video calling the attendant a “f****** f***ot” because he was trying to resolve a situation between her and another couple on the plane.
The apologies on Twitter pointed out that Bank’s actions were justified because she felt threatened. She also brought up the fact that people pick and chose when to be offended, and others get to use the word “n***er” as they want with sometimes no backlash. Banks claims that her outrage towards the Delta employee was a way to express herself, as a black woman.
If America is so concerned with derogatory language, why do I not see even a quarter of this outrage when I use the word “NIGGER”????

America picks and chooses when it likes to be offended. And THAT is a major part of American culture that HAS to change.
