The power couple wrote the introduction to Beyonce’s trainer – Margo Borges’ – new book, “The Greenprint: Plant-Based Diet, Best Body, Better World“, and in it, they challenge readers to adopt a vegan lifestyle.
They wrote, “Having children has changed our lives more than anything else. We used to think of health as a diet—some worked for us, some didn’t. Once we looked at health as the truth, instead of a diet, it became a mission for us to share that truth and lifestyle with as many people as possible.”
Beyonce announced her new vegan lifestyle in an Instagram post last year, saying, “44 days until Coachella!! Vegan Time!!” She followed a vegan diet formulated by the 22 Days Nutrition meal planner; a program she founded with the help of her husband Jay-Z and trainer Borges.
And if you’re having doubts about veganism, Beyonce wrote these words for you: “If I can do it, anyone can.. all you have to do is try.”
