Cardi B is on the cover of the latest issue of XXL.
She said she is going to go away for a long time to finish it. She started the album before COVID and once COVID hit she stopped working on it. The virus discouraged her. She also did not want to put an album out and then do a promo tour on Zoom. Cardi likes the promo process, getting out and touching the people. Likes performing; if she can’t do it then she doesn’t want to do it. She wants to do an album release party in Atlanta and New York and have lots of guests but would feel bad if someone caught COVID.
