Over the past few years, Fabolous has been under the radar releasing mixtapes and making music low key. His last mixtape was called “The Young OG Project” and was released in 2014. Other than that, his last national hit was “You Be Killin Em” which was released in 2010.
His newest project, “Summertime Shootout” is HOT. If I new how to insert Flame Emoji’s into this post, I would. This mixtape has plenty top notch features including The Weeknd, Rich Homie Quan, and Bryson Tiller to name a few. The track I’m covering this week is called “Doin It Well” and it’s an absolute banger! To me, it’s the dopest track on this mixtape and features both Nicki Minaj and Trey Songz. If you’re thinking it sounds familiar, it’s because it does! The song is sampled from LL Cool J’s “Doin It“.
