Up until 6 months ago I wasn’t really a fan of Future. But I’ve been converted. What changed? I like that he knows his style and stays in his lane. More importantly, his work ethic is admirable and thats why I am a fan. Over the past year, you could say that Future has been unstoppable. He has released SIX projects within the last year including “What A time to Be Alive” which was an album he made with Drake and Metro Boomin.
His most recent project, EVOL, seemed to drop out of nowhere. I got a text from a friend saying that he dropped a new album, even though 3 weeks earlier he released “Purple Reign” which in my eyes, is one of my favorite works of his in the past year.
The track I’m covering this week is called Low Life and it’s off his latest album, EVOL. It’s down tempo (like most of his projects) and has a feature from The Weeknd. Basically this track slaps! Give it a listen and let me know what you think!
