By now you’ve heard the tragic story of the 4 year old Layton boy who’s arm was bitten off by a Husky Dog. The attack happened on Sunday afternoon, the little boy had a sock on his hand and was sticking his hand thru a gate where 2 neighbor dogs were playing with them. The dog not knowing what was coming under the gate bit and ripped the unsupervised child’s arm out of the socket. The boy was immediately rushed to Primary Children’s hospital where he and his family have been the entire week so far. A friend of the neighbor where these 2 dogs reside said she was mortified by what happened and with the dogs being in quarantine authorities are not sure what the fate of the dogs could be. The friend started a petition to keep the dog being put down. So far the petition has garnered over 50,000 signatures from around the country. Jessica Nusz says she is hoping enough signatures will convince Davis Animal Control to release both Polar and Bear.

This is a very sad situation for all involved.
