Looks like Tekashi 6ix9ine was denied bail by a judge who deemed him “irresponsible” for bouncing from NYC on tour with an outstanding warrant.
According to HipHopDX.com the rapper was taken into police custody on July 11 at JFK International Airport in Queens, New York. He will remain in a New York jail until his hearing on July 20. He will then be extradited to Texas to face a judge.
6ix9ine faces an assault case and warrent was issued out of Houston, Texas.
Tekashi’s mom was in court crying as her son was carted off to jail.
He will stay locked up until Texas officials come to New York to pick him up.
