Jason Mitchell, the actor who portrayed Eazy-E in Straight Outta Compton, was handcuffed and detained on a Delta flight Sunday evening. However, he didn’t go down without a fight.
Mitchell was apparently told that the first-class seat he paid for was given away, and he made a scene while refusing to sit in an economy seat because it wasn’t his fault that they “overbooked”. Seems pretty unfair, right? Well, there’s two sides to every story. Delta issued a statement saying that Mr. Mitchell actually missed his original flight, so he was placed on stand-by for a flight later in the day. Because of this, he was not guaranteed a first-class seat.
He eventually was removed from the plane and luckily, no charges were pressed against him.
