I was in Las Vegas exactly one month ago – just hours after the awful tragedy – and I’ve never seen such a fun, busy place so empty and quiet. It affected locals and people world wide like no other … especially me. I am out here every month and I love this city so much it is crazy.
I found out Omnia Night Club was throwing a benefit night for the #VegasStrong Foundation, November 7th. Artists such as Steve Aoki, Lil Jon, Kaskade, Tiesto etc. were going to be there — so I jumped on a plane and here I am.
It was Magical!!! Walked into the Club around 10 pm and it was packed. Party Favor was killing it and rocking the crowd. He had them sing along the whole time. Then, later in the night, Steve Aoki got on stage and did what he does best – he hit us with some Linkin Park, “One More Light”, and my emotions sure came out!! Then Bruce Buffer got on stage … then CELINE DION got on stage and performed “My Heart Will Go On”. Lil Jon, FAED, Zedd and more – just did the best I’ve ever seen and heard. I was blown away.
It was a Special Night and I am so glad I was a part of it all.
It just goes to show you that no matter where you are or what has happened — we, as humans, aren’t gonna let dumb sh*t bring us down.
We are not going to bow down or surrender to anything!
