This past Friday night, the weather was perfect and the stars lit up the city. But it was the bright lights from bullet bikes to big trucks that lit up the fastest track in the Beehive state! Rocky Mountain Raceway and those that were in attendance made my Friday night just right! Nothing like the sound of engines revving and tires screeching before lift off!
Such a friendly and family atmosphere. I believe the best part of the night was when the track had to get swept and I did some fun contest for prizes like artist merchandise and Lagoon passes. One contest I did was “Do your best Dragster Rev Sound.” Contestants did their best impression of fast Funny Cars. I had a girl who sounded like a 1970’s Ford Pinto! We also did a foot race right next to the race track for those 5 and under with their parents to win a day at Lagoon!
