The Lumineers are an American folk rock band formed in 2005 in Denver, Colorado. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Wesley Schultz, drummer Jeremiah Fraites, and bassist/vocalist Lauren Jacobson, along with other rotating members. Their music blends elements of folk, rock, and Americana, often featuring acoustic instruments, catchy melodies, and emotionally charged lyrics.
Their breakout self-titled album, The Lumineers (2012), included the hit single “Ho Hey,” which became a worldwide success and garnered them widespread attention. Their follow-up albums, Cleopatra (2016) and III (2019), continued to explore themes of love, loss, and personal struggles, while maintaining their signature sound.
