LISTEN | Free Sundance Film Screenings with “For The Locals” is on the way

If there’s anything I’ve missed over the past year… is watching films in person. Not from my couch, but out in the city. It’s amazing how much you miss something when it’s gone. But with Utah reopening more every day the good peoples at The Sundance Institute miss it too. That’s why they are kicking off their “FOR THE LOCALS” weekend July 14-17. A community gathering across multiple venues like Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre to Redwood Drive-In, to Utah Olympic Park and in between you’ll have a selection of curated Sundance Award Winning Films to see for yourself.

Just slide over to sundance.org/sundancelocals for the updated scoop.

Shoutout to Ash Hoyle, part of programming at The Sundance Institute for checking in during The Morning Roll Out to spread the word about this dope community event. I’ll definitely be pulling up to see Questlove’s first film “Summer Of Soul” as one of many films to screen. Thank goodness the movies are BACK.
