Nikki Rae’s 3 Way: 3 Ways To Boost Your Weight Loss

Here we are, 31 days into 2018…hows that New years resolution going?

Are you still going strong? Or have you lost motivation because you aren’t seeing results? It’s hard to stay motivated when you don’t see results. Here are 3 easy ways to keep the scale moving.

Go Nuts!

Working out and not seeing an improvement? Try eating almonds before your workout. Almonds are packed full of nutrients that can boost your workout and help you burn more calories. Plus they will give you a rush of energy to help push you through your workout.

Switch It Up!

Tired of being a hamster on a wheel when it comes to your workout? Doing the same workout routine can actually work against you. Our muscles have memory and when trained to do the same thing over and over repetitively, they become accustomed to it. Meaning, all that running on the treadmill, or power walking up the Stairmaster you’re doing, isn’t giving you the results you are looking for. Switch up your workout routine every day for the best results. Confusing your muscles will make them work harder and more effectively when it comes to burning calories.

Stay Thirsty!

Are you drinking enough water a day? This is the single most effortless way to boost weight loss, along with hundreds of other great health benefits. Drinking water can help you stay fuller longer and help with fatigue and dehydration. You should be drinking your weight in ounces every day. Keep a water bottle on you at all times. An easy way to know if you’re drinking enough water is to look at your pee. If its clear to very light yellow you’re good! bright to dark yellow can indicate that you may be dehydrated, this can be a reason why you haven’t seen the scale move much. This is the only time its OK to be extra thirsty!
