WATCH | The Evolution of Gucci Mane

The East Atlanta Santa…

Atlanta legend Gucci Mane has been one of the hardest working rappers for years. Born in Bessemer, Alabama, Gucci moved to Atlanta when he was nine years old, and started writing raps in 2001 after he was arrested for the first time. After getting out of jail in 2009, Gucci grabbed his first Gold single with “Wasted,” which appeared on his first Gold album ‘The State Vs. Radric Davis.’ He continued to pump out hits, including the ubiquitous “Lemonade,” before going back to jail in 2014. Since then, he’s been sober and releasing the best music of his career. He even scored a No. 1 hit with Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles.”

Rewind back to Gucci’s evolution below.
