Weekend Recap: Intern Esther Sings The National Anthem At The Real Monarchs Game

Heyyyyy that’s me! Yes that’s right people, #internesther sings sometimes:) Outside of radio it is one of my passions and I just wanted to share my love for music and singing with ya’ll! So this weekend I got to sing The National Anthem at the home opener game for The Real Monarchs soccer team and they won 2-0! Just a little bit about me, I’ve been singing since I was 13 years old in mostly choir type settings but I’ve more recently been discovering my solo voice through voice lessons and by singing in the Debra Bonner Unity Gospel Choir. I have soloed and performed at events like the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable held at the Salt Lake Tabernacle as well as other events  and sporting events in the Salt Lake and Utah County areas.

I love R&B music and you may occasionally catch me at a Karaoke night in Utah County belting Whitney Houston songs at the top of my lungs haha. If there is one thing I have learned this year is that you have to just be yourself, trust yourself, love yourself and go for it! I have been procrastinating sharing my voice with the world but I’m not shy anymore. So be on the lookout for future performances in your area and come say Hi! You can follow me on Youtube @Esther Cabrera Music. Let me know what you think and if you have any song requests! But seriously… Please hit Like and Subscribe:) HA! #mondaymotivation #followyourdreams

Check out me singing The National Anthem at the Real Monarchs game this past Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium! (Sorry bout the quality, it was on a phone!)

My most recent youtube video post was a Whitney Houston Medley of me covering some of my favorite songs.
