System error? (Yeah right.)
American Airlines is finally apologizing to Wale for not believing that he belonged in first class.
How about ur employees Megumi and Don told me “ur not supposed to be in first class I’m calling the police “.

He even calls out the flight attendants by their first names to drive his point across.

This is not the first incident that American Airlines has encountered with an African American flyer. In 2017, The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) issued a travel advisory to all African American passengers flying the airline due to repeated racial incidents.
American Airlines issued an apology blaming the mistake on a system error that didn’t register Wale’s first-class seat assignment.
“We just want to apologize to Wale for what really occurred here…We understand his frustration…He’s a good customer of ours. He flies with us regularly. We really just want to apologize profusely.”
If you were Wale, what would be sufficient, financial payout? Free trips? Or just a public apology like he got?
