The First Amendment protects the freedom of speech, but defamation and invasion of privacy are two grounds for a case…
The Pusha T and Drake beef seems to be quieting down, with most of the people giving Push the W, but what happens if it goes to court? When First Amendment lawyers were asked whether Drake had a case, the answer was a yes, but it wouldn’t be easy. The First Amendment protects the freedom of speech, but defamation and invasion of privacy are two grounds for a case.
For this to happen Drake would have to completely open up to the court about his private life. This is highly unlikely and probably won’t happen, not to mention bringing somebody to court is just not a cool thing to do, so a diss track back from Drake is more realistic.
If you were Drake, would you take Push to court for revealing an illegitimate child and trying to sabotage a clothing line? Tweet us now @U92slc
