DaBaby has partnered with the #NoCap2020 campaign to help his hometown of North Carolina to get to the polls.
DaBaby has enlisted the slogan “Vote Baby Vote” for his statewide bus tour, social media program, and series of events during early voting. DaBaby said in a press release, “This isn’t my first time voting, but after seeing everything that’s happened across the world, in our communities—it is a necessity to get my people involved, especially in my hometown.” Voters under 40 make up 40 percent of North Carolina voters. Jonah Vincent, who is the director for #NoCap2020 released a statement saying, “…with DaBaby’s roots in our state, we have an opportunity to empower young people to action like never before.” Voters can use DaBaby’s slogan “VoteBabyVote” to get free rides from Lyft to head to the polls.
