Facebook Is Joining The (Very) Crowded Audio Space With Soundbites, Live Rooms And Podcasts Facebook has the attention of our eyes, now it’s coming for our ears. In a recent announcement, the social media platform stated that they are launching a few new audio products like, “Live Audio Rooms”, “Soundbites”, and adding podcast abilities. Mark Zuckerberg stated that the company wants to “treat audio as a first-class medium in the way that we treat photos and videos”.
