House Approves Relief Payment

The House of Representatives on Monday approved a stimulus payment

It will be a hike from $600 to $2,000 for most Americans. The increase, which was championed by President Donald Trump, passed with a 275-134 vote, the House revealed. The bill will now be sent to the Senate, where it needs to get approval from at least two-thirds of its members before it’s ready for the president’s signature. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has not said whether he supports the increase.

Basically, if you make $99,000 or more as a single person or $198,000 as a couple, you don’t qualify.
