Joey Bada$$ was almost Jim Beckwourth in the movie The Harder They Fall.
In a recent interview he said he met the director of the movie, Jeymes Samuel at the Roc Nation Brunch. He said Jeymes hit him later and told him he had a role for him but by the time he got the call Joey had already committed to doing Power. Joey said Jeymes got him his role in the Diddy-produced short film, Two Distant Strangers that won an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film.
Can you imagine Joey as Jim Beckwourth or did RJ Cyler who ended up getting the role do a better job?
