Lizzo Celebrates Weight Gain Critics Claim She’s Promoting Unhealthy Lifestyle

Lizzo recently went on social media to celebrate the new year and her weight gain,

But her enthusiasm wasn’t met with excitement by all. Critics are saying Lizzo celebrating her weight gain is promoting an unhealthy lifestyle, especially with obesity being a factor in COVID deaths. “I look TF GOODT,” Lizzo captioned a video of her dancing in a leotard in a bathroom. Fans took to the comments in agreement with the “Good As Hell” singer.  The Federalist writer Tristan Justice criticized designer magazines Paper Magazine and Cosmopolitan for celebrating plus size people. Justice posted covers of Cosmopolitan with plus-sized women on the cover with the caption, “Obesity is the second leading cause of preventable death and raises individuals’ risk of complications from COVID-19. I’m sorry, this is not healthy. @Cosmopolitan”
