Nicki Minaj is gearing up to release her Queen documentary and, in the latest clip shared to Instagram, she reveals a dark moment in her past.
In a two-part teaser, Nicki cries when she recalls her father’s violent behavior toward her mother and how that soon affected her. She never thought she’d be in the same situation, but there she was.

“I remember when my mother would let my father be violent with her…I vowed from that age no man would ever abuse me, call me out my name, treat me like that, and all of a sudden that was my life.”
