According to TMZ, Offset was released on $17,000 bail.
Offset, a convicted felon, was arrested on Friday (July 20) while driving in a Porsche 911 outside of Atlanta. Police reportedly found three handguns in the car, marijuana and $107,000. The 26-year-old was charged with two felonies — possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a weapon during a crime — as well as two misdemeanors — possession of marijuana (one ounce or less) and an improper lane change.
According to TMZ, Migos rapper Offset was taken into custody on Friday (July 20) while cruising around the outskirts of Atlanta. Offset was originally pulled over for the tint on his windows, but a witness told TMZ that officers found at least one gun in the SUV during a search.
Uh-oh, Offset is supposed to perform in Salt Lake City this Thursday (July 26). We’ll see if he’s able to make it.
You might think, okay what’s the big deal? Well, Offset is a convicted felon and currently on probation which means he’s not allowed to have a gun in his possession.
