The first lady of Ruthless and Death Row Records has a biopic on the way. Rhyon Nicole Brown (Lincoln Heights) has been tapped to play Lifetime’s story about Michel’le.
Many people wondered why she was not portrayed in the movie Straight Outta Compton? She played a huge role in the success of both epic labels back in the 80’s and 90’s. Not only signed as an artist, she was once the former girlfriend of super producer Dr Dre. Then later wife of Death Row’s former C.E.O., Suge Knight. Having children for both, she has been accused of starting the beef between the once partners of the Death Row label.
According to Deadline, R. Marcos Taylor who starred as Suge Knight in Straight Outta Compton will portray the troubled C.E.O. again.
Production for Lifetime’s The Michel’le Story is scheduled to begin in June.
