For the past weeks we have all been disgusted, upset, but yet confused as to what really took place the morning of January 29th to Jussie Smolett. The original story was he was allegedly a victim of a hate crime attack that involved racial and homophobic slurs. Chicago police have been working to piece all of the evidence together regarding the attack but somehow the allegations are not adding up. Jussie finally broke his silence last week during an interview on GMA where recalls the attack and has continued to stick to his story.
Now authorities believe Smolett allegedly paid “Empire” extras to jump him and the whole story was fabricated.
