Moments after the 98th Academy Awards concluded on Sunday, Best Supporting Actress nominee Teyana Taylor was involved in a heated confrontation with a security guard inside the Dolby Theatre. The incident occurred as Taylor, a star of the Best Picture-winning film “One Battle After Another,” was attempting to return to the stage for a cast and crew group photo.
According to sources with direct knowledge, the security guard physically stopped Taylor from going back up the stairs to the stage, putting his hands on her in the process.

The security firm responsible for the event, Security Industry Specialists, Inc., addressed the incident in a statement. They confirmed there was a “brief interaction” and “incidental contact” between Taylor and a security guard who was managing a crowded area to ensure guest safety^2,8.
