Teacher of the year…
Remember getting a paper or test back in school with red pen all over it? Or maybe you were the teacher’s pet and that never happened to you? I’m sure you would’ve appreciated at least some gold stars when it got back to you though.
English teacher Ainee F. is doing just that but in a trendy way thanks to the internet. She is grading work using memes, yes you read that right, MEMES!

Ainee teaches a High School “media studies” English class, where students study/analyze the media & write so it’s definitely appropriate. Topics range from social media to trends to even politics.
She even goes on to say, “These were really well received by my kids. Students who normally wouldn’t care actually asked if they could correct their tests for a better grade & had a good laugh.”
Shoutout to this teacher for doing something different that her students can relate to and appreciate. That is what teachers are supposed to do, make things relatable.
