If Geoffrey Owens, the ‘Cosby Show’ actor turned grocery store worker wants to get back to acting he has an offer on the table.
Tyler Perry offered the actor who starred as Alvin, on ‘The Cosby Show’ a role on his ‘Have and Have Nots’ show on OWN. Tyler tweeted, “#GeoffreyOwens I’m about to start shootings OWN’s number one drama next week! Come join us!!! I have so much respect for people who hustle between gigs. The measure of a true artist.”
He currently works at Trader Joes and has been thrust back into the spotlight after a picture of him at the grocery store went viral.
Geoffrey said he doesn’t want people to “feel sorry” for him, because he’s had a great life and doesn’t feel like one job is better than another.
