Utah Ranked 17th Best State to Raise Family

Happy Valley…

Raising a family sometimes requires moving to a new state. Whether it’s for a career transition, better schools, or a general desire to change settings, life happens.

According to a new study published by WalletHub, Utah was ranked the 17th best state to raise a family in. Utah ranked first in two categories: lowest divorce rate and the state with the most families with young kids (who didn’t know that one?).

Minnesota, Massachusetts and North Dakota took the top spots, while Louisiana, Mississippi and New Mexico were the worst states to raise a family in.

WalletHub compared several factors between the state in order to determine the results. These factors included metrics like family fun, health and safety, education and child care, affordability, and socio-economic ranking.

You can see the detailed results here.
