At the Brickyard location of Rue 21, a 36-year-old man was arrested after allegedly filming a 12-yr-old girl while she was changing in the dressing room.
The girl’s mom had stepped away from the dressing room to get a different size for her daughter, and when she returned, she witnessed Jorge Leon-Alfaro in an adjacent stall.
The girl’s mom, Doris Stiles-Scrown, said,
“I caught this guy underneath my daughter’s stall while she was changing at Rue 21 and I had to chase him all the way down. You’re a sick pervert. A 12-year-old girl, 12-year-old girl! That’s what she gets for her birthday? Her birthday’s in two days she gets some sick pervert looking under her stall, trying to grab her?!”
With the help of other witnesses, the girl’s mom was able to chase Leon-Alfaro down and detain him in the parking lot until police arrived.
An employee at Rue 21 was able to confirm the incident to police.
Jorge Leon-Alfaro is now being held at Salt Lake County Jail, facing charges of voyeurism.
