If you haven’t used Uber yet, the idea is you can order a car to pick you up and drive you anywhere, all through an app. Thanks to Eboni Jones, they’re going to have to specify in their terms and conditions that you can’t use the service as a getaway vehicle. The Richmond, Virginia woman was caught by Walmart security as she tried to get away with a cart of stolen goods. She fled then came out of a nearby store wearing a change of clothes. That’s when Jones called an Uber. Police caught up with the car just down the road and when the would be thief was questioned, she lied, so police threw another charge at her. Now, Jones is facing both larceny and lying to police charges. Source: NBC 12
