Young Thug Explains Why It Was So Hard Getting Lil Baby

During Young Thug’s appearance on The Breakfast Club,

The Atlanta rapper explained how he helped Lil Baby get out of the hood and focus on his musical career. Thug said Lil Baby made between $10-20,000 a day in the hood but started facing legal battles between 2012-2014 which landed him in prison for two years. After his release, Thug introduced him to Quality Control head, Pierre Thomas, and paid him $5-10K a day to stay in the studio and work on music because he was fearful of him going back to jail.  “I just didn’t want him to go back to prison,” Thug admits. “I was scared for him to go back to jail because he had just did a bid. He got straight out of jail and went straight back to the same neighborhood, the same house, that the police busted him and locked him up….”
