If you really know me you know my love for cars and all things car culture run as deep as my love for music and hip hop. To me it’s not just about how fast you can make it or how much money you can put into it.. it’s about the relationships you gain from a common love. You may see the term “gear head” from friends who are really in to their cars. I’m definitely one of them.
I’ve made some incredible friendships through it. I’ve learned so much about how to wrench on my own cars and projects through those friendships. What may look like “showing off” is really an expression of that person’s taste and style, and a rendition of their own vision of what they want to accomplish with their project. For others it’s achieving a dream car, like my friend Austin Kent as you’ll see in the first episode of CARZ.
CARZ is my new video series featuring Utah’s car culture.
Love and a big shout out to my homie Austin Kent for his willingness to show you his dream car turned reality, his BMW E92 M3. He was one of the first friends I made in Utah when I moved here when we met up at a car meet for what was then our matching cars and addiction to modification. If you or someone you know has a unique ride that deserves a feature, feel free to hit me directly via DM on Instagram or Twitter.
