If you watched the BET Awards, you may have heard Offset thanking his “wife”. According to TMZ they have the proof that shows the couple are already hitched!
Apparently, TMZ obtained a marriage certificate from a Fulton County, Georgia court which shows Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus and Cardi, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar were married on September 20th, 2017. That would mean they were already married nearly a month before Offset’s proposal as seen on video in front of thousands.
Migos, who won for best group during Sunday evening’s awards, took to the stage to accept the award thanking friends, fans, and family. Offset happily said, “I thank my wife, you should thank your.”
