TMZ is reporting that a company owned by Jay Z and Bey have trademarked the names “Sir” and “Rumi” — Rumor has it that, these are the twins’ names and that Jay and Bey are protecting them for future use.
Since they ARE Jay and Bey, they can’t just give out basic-ass names like “John” or “Kristen” — so let’s break down the potential rumored names!
“Sir” obviously is a title given to people knighted by the British monarch, so that’s makes sense for music Royalty like the Carters.
And “Rumi” has a special meaning as well. It’s a Japanese name that roughly translates to “beauty.” Um…sounds pretty perfect, doesn’t it?!
Basically, this is just speculation, and we are still waiting for Bey to officially announce their birth, their names, and share some cute baby pics.
