Earl Sweatshirt is hitting the road—and crossing oceans—with the announcement of his globe-spanning 3LWorldTour, a high-concept run backing his latest album, Live Laugh Love. The trek kicks off October 31 with a Halloween blowout at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, where Earl shares the stage with Denzel Curry, Freddie Gibbs, 2Dead Boyz, and Lexa Gates. Just days later, he lands in Salt Lake City on November 5 for a stacked set featuring Zelooperz, Liv.e, and Cletus Strap, signaling this tour’s deep dive into alt-rap’s most experimental voices. The Album: Live Laugh Love
The tour follows the August release of Live Laugh Love, Earl’s first solo LP since Sick! in 2022. The new project finds the LA rapper in a more expansive, reflective mode—sonically looser but still steeped in his trademark obliqueness. With tracks like “Tourmaline” and “Crisco,” he blends left-field jazz loops and diaristic wordplay into something quietly riveting.
Earl hasn’t spoken much publicly about Live Laugh Love, but the album has been praised for its emotional depth and experimental edge. Critics have highlighted its more open-ended structures and moments of clarity that punctuate the dense lyricism. For fans of Earl’s layered, introspective style, it’s a rewarding listen—particularly standouts like the abstract soul of “Lungfish” and the cryptic punch of “Diablo’s Journal.”
A Curated Movement
In keeping with his ever-growing curatorial instincts, Earl has tapped a rotating cast of underground stars and collaborators for the tour. Zelooperz, Liv.e, Cletus Strap, Pig the Gemini, Akai Solo, and Mike Shabb appear throughout the U.S. leg, while European dates will feature Sideshow and Jadasea. The Red Rocks opener sets a high bar for the whole tour: multigenerational, musically fluid, and defiantly non-commercial.
Expect no two shows to feel the same. If past Earl tours are any indication, his live set is likely to lean into the weirder corners of his discography, reframed through moody visuals and minimalist staging. With Live Laugh Love, he’s not just touring an album—he’s curating a movement.
