Hip Hop Lost Another Rap Pioneer RIP Craig Mack

Puff had said that the foundation of his Bad Boy Entertainment was that of the Notorious B.I.G. and Craig Mack in 1994. Craig Mack started his Hip Hop career back in 1988 as MC EZ. Puffy Combs told the MC that he would sign him if he freestyled on a Mary J. Blige track.

Though Mack’s first album with Bad Boy Entertainment was over shadowed by Biggie’s Ready To Die Masterpiece in 1994, “Flava In Ya Ear” was a successful single. But it was the remix that featured the late Biggie, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes and Rampage that made a staple in Hip Hop History! The single is still being used today in TV commercials.

Reports have said that the rapper died from heart failure. Mack is survived by his wife and two children.

Rest In Peace to Craig Mack
