Minaj has ruled the AMAs in the Rap/Hip-Hop categories since 2015, earning six awards. Nicki took home the awards for Favorite Female Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Latin Song and is the most awarded female Rap artist of all time, she now has 8 AMA wins tying with Eminem for the honor. The AMA nominations and winners are selected by members of the music industry, based on commercial performance, such as sales and airplay.
Winners are voted on by the public via the AMA website.
