It’s the surprise album that is just on time! Teyana Taylor’s “The Album” is now streaming and it’s a celebration for many reasons.
Not only does the new album arrive on Juneteenth after being pushed back, but it also features artists and family that are near and dear to Teyana’s heart.
Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Missy Elliott, Quavo, Big Sean, Kehlani, Rick Ross, and Davido all make appearances on “The Album,” but also Teyana’s husband and superstar NBA player, Iman Shumpert and daughter, Junie also perform alongside Taylor.
When asked about “The Album” being delivered on Juneteenth Taylor said, “I’ve always been about us being celebrated and celebrating my culture and my people. For everything to happen, from my album getting delayed and it falls perfectly on Juneteenth, yes, it’s a celebration.” Teyana and family are also celebrating the announcement of a new addition being added to the family this September when the couple expects the arrival of a new baby girl.
