Clipse Return with Stark Statement in “So Be It”

“So Be It”, the latest single from Clipse’s long-awaited reunion album Let God Sort Em Out, arrives with a gripping black-and-white video that underlines the duo’s signature mix of menace and precision. Directed by Hannan Hussain, the visual casts Pusha T and No Malice in an austere, shadow-drenched setting that mirrors the song’s stripped-down yet confrontational tone. The song features reverse 808s and a wicked Middle Eastern sample.

The Cold Shoulder

Visually minimal but thematically rich, the video amplifies the song’s lyrical impact. Pusha T doesn’t shy from controversy, dropping pointed bars that many interpret as a not-so-subtle swipe at Travis Scott. The lyrics build on tension that surfaced publicly when Pusha was cut from a Paris performance in favor of Travis, a moment fans still dissect.

New Era, Same Fire

Let God Sort Em Out, out July 11, is the first Clipse album since 2009. Entirely produced by Pharrell, the project reunites the Virginia duo with their long-time collaborator, blending icy beats with grown-man gravitas. Guest spots from Kendrick Lamar and Stove God Cooks signal a calculated return, not a nostalgic retread.

On the Road Again

Following the album drop, Clipse will launch their first major tour in 15 years. Kicking off August 3 in Boston, the Let God Sort Em Out Tour will stretch through September 10, wrapping in Detroit. EarthGang will join as the opening act, bringing a mix of Southern funk and lyrical flair to the bill. Check the full Clipse 2024 tour dates here.
